HI PEOPLE! :D

well since the promos are coming up in like. a few days (gasp!) i suppose the few reasons peope could still actually have the time to come visit this site is because

1) you think this blog is very cool.
2) you're not cool enough to visit other cool blogs, so you come to this uncool blog to have a laugh. or a cry.
3) you can really emphatise with an uncool guy like me because you're uncool too.
4) you just have some free time away from studies.

not much point in talking about promos since they're so BLAH anyway. just wait a few more days to savour it in its full glory.

okie dokie so recently i've been thinking see, why would people ever want to lie to someone else? i mean, what's the point? even if you hate the person to his or her guts, there isn't really any good that you can get from lying.

or maybe it's just cos i'm not cool enough to see it from cool people's point of view.

i mean, since i'm so uncool and all, i only can think of it from my innocent, gullible perspective and wonder. just wonder: what is it about cool people that makes the lie all the time oO

and then i think to myself, if i were a cool person (which would never happen in this lifetime), would i like to be stuck with an uncool person (like myself)? ignoring the possible paradoxes and oxymorons and other complicated literary terminology that cool people employ all the time, i actually think uncool people would be quite a threat to my rep if i were to be seen with them!

so ya...it's quite easy to imagine why cool people would lie, especially to uncool people. say i'm at location A. and i wouldn't want this uncool guy to be anywhere near A, so obviously i tell him or her i'm gonna be at location B instead, so that he or she will naturally (being the uncool person that he or she is) think that i'm telling the truth, since i'm so much more cool than him that he or she would be unable to fathom my possible intentions and immediately believe whatever i tell them.

but this is a matter of context as well: i don't really get why cool people, no matter how cool they might be, would want to lie to an uncool person who really looks up to and just wants to make that cool person happy.

but i guess that's the way cool people function lar. if it's not cool, it's not good. yo.

just got to accept it lar. cool people, are just too cool sometimes. so if they lie to you, it's probably cos you're just not cool enough for them.

sad, innit?
